Erin and Brett 6/7/14

Erin and Brett decide to go for a little Lowcountry elegance.  Their ceremony and reception took place at the beautiful historic Charleston location, Charles Towne Landing.  It's not uncommon to see flowers in full bloom or the occasional alligator basking in the sun.  This is a one of nature's most beautiful places on earth.  It sits back under the mossy oak trees. There's plenty of nature and wildlife and it's own natural habitat.   It certainly is a place to guess we'll remember. This historical property's plantation house is where the ceremony took place. The Legare Waring House is a great choice for a true Charlestonian wedding.

Lauren Huntley 4/18/14. Huntley/ Moser Wedding

TLauren came to us from Fairfax, VA. Her soon to be husband was originally from Charleston.  They agreed that Charlestonwasvthe best place to have their weddings?They know it was an amazing area that both families and friends could enjoy.  They were engaged last January of 2013. At that moment they started researching venues in the area. They chose Boone Hall Plantation as their ideal location.  Lauren agreed to book the famous site without ever even seeing it first!  She took her future husbands word that it was incredible.  All she knew is that she wanted old Charleston charm with a rustic feel.   the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall is all that and more. We wish Lauren and Derrick the absolute best in their future together!

This beautiful wedding took place in Wild Dunes on the Isle of Palms, SC. The ceremony took place on the North Croquet Lawn.   Followed by the reception on the South Croquet Lawn. Their first dance was to the song " A Sunday Smile" by Beirut.  The wedding was planned by the ever talented Justin Wham with JW weddings and Events.

Autumn And Phillip 6/8

Amber and Phillip chose Charleston, SC to be their destination for their wedding.  It is close to home for these two.  They both live in Columbia, SC where they are members of the ballet.  Being professional dancers, their time was limited to make small wedding decisions.  They left the details in the hands of Engaging Events of Charleston.   Cindy helped to make their wedding day perfect.   The team from Vanity Salon arrived at their location in the heart of downtown Charleston to get the ladies ready.  They stayed at the historic Andrew Pinckney Inn on Pinckney Street. Amber chose to have her hair styled in loose pinned up curls.  She wanted something different than her on stage ballerina bun.   Her headpiece was a beautifully made by a friend of the brides.  Amber also decided to go with the airbrush makeup so that it would last through the night.    The ceremony took place at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.   We hear the reception was the place to be.   With a guest list full of dancers, the dance floor was hopping!  All photos courtesy of Mell Bell with Richard Bell Photography.

Liz and Jeff traveled down from NY to Charleston for their destination wedding.  They chose the beautiful Legare Waring House for their location.  This beautiful house is located in Charles Town Landing which was the first permanent European settlement in the Carolina's.  It is full of history and beauty.  They were married outdoors surrounded by beautiful mossy oaks, blooming flowers, and nature at it's best.
