2014: The Year of the Bob

Several celebrities made the big chop last year taking their long locks to the ever-chic bob. The bob is such a versatile cut, whether you like it smooth & sleek or piecey & messy, there's a variation for you. The "lob", a slightly longer version, is perfect for those not ready to make such a drastic change. Would you make the cut!?

Published Brides in Mount Pleasant Magazine

Vanity Salon's work has been published in this months issue of Mount Pleasant Magazine. It's also the "Best Of" issue where we have been again voted Best Salon for the 3rd year in a row! Big shout out to our salon owner Kim Coleman who made the cover!

This issue had a bridal feature with tips on perfecting your wedding with everything from the ring, to hair & makeup, to the dress.

Haley 12/20

We would like to wish a big congratulations to Haley who allowed us to be a part of her wedding day last month! Haley and her bridal party had the Vanity Style Bus meet them at the Francis Marion hotel downtown Charleston for hair and makeup. Kristen & Kim styled hair and Korissa & Ashley did makeup. The Style Bus is great for weddings and can also be reserved for other events like birthday parties, bachelorette parties, holiday parties & other events. Our Style Bus features a make up station in the back, 3 stations on the right & additional seating on the left for the rest of your party. It allows all of your guests the ability to interact while waiting their turn for services.

Photographer Roger Kirby had one of Haley's bridesmaids recreate a graphic from the outside of the Style Bus. So cute!

Congratulations Haley & Anthony, thank you again for allowing Vanity Salon to be a part of your special day! And we wish you luck on your big move too!

We met Kristin and her bridal party at a beach house on Isle of Palms to do hair ad makeup for herself & bridesmaids. From there they moved on to The Pavilion at Patriots Point for their ceremony.

 

 

The girls all opted for different hairstyles, but nothing too tight, soft romantic styles.

 

 

 

Congratulations again you two, we wish you both a lifetime of love!
