Family Circle Cup

"The Family Circle Cup is the largest women’s only tennis tournament in the world, and Family Circle Magazine is the longest running title sponsor of a sporting event in the United States, as well as in all of professional tennis, worldwide.

Every April, Charleston welcomes close to 100,000 spectators and more than 70 world-class, women athletes to participate in the excitement of the Family Circle Cup. Records are broken and memories are made as extraordinary tennis stars take Stadium Court to compete for the coveted Cup.

The event not only offers world-class tennis, but also hosts a wide-variety of other activities throughout the week long tournament. In between matches, attendees can enjoy shopping in the Merchandise Tent or tasting some of the unique Charleston cuisine offered at one of the many dining locations onsite.  Not to mention visiting the various sponsor booths to enter to win prizes and giveaways galore, or facing off against the fast serve machine to see if you can return a serve like the pros."

For more information on the Family Circle Cup, call (800) 677-2293, email info@familycirclecup.com, Facebook (Family Circle Cup) or Twitter (@FamilyCircleCup).

Jessica's kind words posted on Wedding Wire:

"Kim and her crew know how to do it. I worked with them 3 different times and each time they were fabulous. They did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot, my trial run for my wedding and my wedding. Kim and crew managed to get hair and makeup done for about 9 of us in 3 hours. It was amazing. They were so much fun and everyone looked amazing. The best part was that they came onsite to take care of all of us. That is worth EVERY penny on your wedding. You will not be disappointed if you choose Vanity Salon."

Sharing the Romance contest!

Couple says "I do" at Charleston dream wedding

By Lisa Weismann

One lucky couple is spending their first few days as husband and wife.
But finding the love of their lives wasn't the only stroke of luck for Katie Durham and Bobby Hill.  The military couple also won an all-expense paid dream wedding at Magnolia Plantation as part of their Sharing the Romance contest.
"It's still kind of surreal that it actually happened and we actually won this," Hill said on Saturday - his wedding day.
The couple was separately deployed to Afghanistan and couldn't plan a ceremony around their original wedding date, so Durham found the competition online and applied.  Soon thereafter, the couple was notified that they had won.
"We chose all the fabulous vendors from Charleston: from the wedding dress, to the wedding planner, to the catering, bar service and transportation," Magnolia Plantation Marketing Manager Jessica Cruz said of the $50,000 dollar fete.
The couple is planning a honeymoon in early summer when they both have time off from active duty.  The bride is from Florida and the groom is from Alabama.
"It is officially the best day of my life," Durham said.  "They always say it will be, and it's true."
