Folly Beach, SC is a great place to get married in the summer time.  Carrie and her party rented a cute rustic beach house on Folly Beach for Memorial Day weekend.   They had us come out there to get them ready for Carrie's wedding that was to be held at Bowen's Island.   The bridal party's enjoyed the comfort of their own space whole we had a leisurely day of pampering them.   

Carrie's style matched her personality and theme of the wedding.  It was a very loosely done upstyle with many twists and turns.  It was brought slightly to the side and elegantly twisted low off her face.  She chose baby's breath to incorporate for that very Bohemian look.

Leigh May 26 Memorial Day Wedding

This wedding as one hat was certainly unique.  It was taking place on the Carnival Fantasy Cruise Ship in Charleston, SC.  We arrived around 8:30 am to get Leigh and the girls ready for the ceremony.   We took Charleston's one and only Style Bus on location to get them ready. The 4 of them enjoyed the luxury of having a private salon come to them. the Style Bus gives the girls the luxury of having their own salon experience without the inconvenience of having to travel out.  The girls enjoyed having their hair and airbrush makeup done while sipping mimosas and eating pastries.   ONce they were finished they could make their way to the ship where the ceremony would begin.   Leigh and her husband were off to the Bahamas for an unforgettable honeymoon in paradise.

We’re tying up the week with an absolutely breathtaking wedding at the Legare Waring House captured byHunter McRae Photography. Paige and Frank didn’t let the unexpected downpour of a Lowcountry rainstorm tarnish any aspect of their celebration—after all, it was nothing a tent and some darling umbrellas couldn’t fix. Lush blooms of bright orange and pink were at every turn—we especially loved how the bridesmaids bouquets looked against the women’s aqua gowns, and then were slipped into gold-dipped Mason jars after the ceremony. Lucky for the couple, as soon as the storm blew in, it blew out, and Hunter was able to lead the new Mr. & Mrs. around the grounds for plenty of romantic portraits. And for those looking for great getaway ideas, take a peek at how Paige and Frank headed out: through a tunnel of colorful glow sticks—so fun!
