Sharing the Romance contest!

Couple says "I do" at Charleston dream wedding

By Lisa Weismann

One lucky couple is spending their first few days as husband and wife.
But finding the love of their lives wasn't the only stroke of luck for Katie Durham and Bobby Hill.  The military couple also won an all-expense paid dream wedding at Magnolia Plantation as part of their Sharing the Romance contest.
"It's still kind of surreal that it actually happened and we actually won this," Hill said on Saturday - his wedding day.
The couple was separately deployed to Afghanistan and couldn't plan a ceremony around their original wedding date, so Durham found the competition online and applied.  Soon thereafter, the couple was notified that they had won.
"We chose all the fabulous vendors from Charleston: from the wedding dress, to the wedding planner, to the catering, bar service and transportation," Magnolia Plantation Marketing Manager Jessica Cruz said of the $50,000 dollar fete.
The couple is planning a honeymoon in early summer when they both have time off from active duty.  The bride is from Florida and the groom is from Alabama.
"It is officially the best day of my life," Durham said.  "They always say it will be, and it's true."
