When we can’t find inspiration sometimes we need to go outside our normal day to day routine and dig a little deeper into what this big world has to offer us. I feel its important for all of us to have something in our lives that serves as a reset button to help us become refreshed and renewed. For me my refresh button is traveling. I am blessed to have a successful wedding photography business in Knoxville, but sometimes being busy doesn’t always mean it leaves time to be creative. When I travel the new smells, sights and surrounds help serve as something that inspires in life and business, so thats my refresh button.
I travel to Charleston, SC to visit my brother often and to say I’ve fell in love with that city is an understatement! I had a tripped planned to visit the colorful city a few week back so I thought why not collaborate with local Charleston wedding vendors to create a beautiful styled wedding shoot at Lowndes Grove Plantation.
Charleston plantation wedding venue, Lowndens Grove is breathtaking! 1786-era plantation house that is rich in Revolutionary War history, right on the water in downtown Charleston and lined with historic oaks is just some of Lowndens Groves outstanding features that attacks so many Charleston brides there each year.
As I started planning the shoot I wanted something soft, something classic and something that screamed Charleston and as you see below I feel that this shoot came out just that way! Thank you to all the vendors who participated in this shoot that gave me such inspiration for the upcoming wedding season!
