Packing for vacation can be challenging especially with those pesky baggage fees!
Travel light and ditch arsenal of styling tools! 

Solution?

Add some styling gel (JoiGel Medium) to damp hair, create two braids & wrap each into a bun, securing with bobby pins. Allow them to dry this way all day for a simple updo that will keep you looking and feeling cool! 

Ready for evening? Undo the braids for beautiful beach waves!

Welcome to a new serious we are calling, Hair Hacks!

For the next few weeks we will be giving you great tips and tricks to protect your hair during the summer months. This week's hack will be all about SWIMMING!

Chlorine and saltwater can really take a toll on your hair, often leading to
dryness, breakage and discoloration.

Tip #1 - You have a new best friend and her name is Leave-In Conditioner. Stop by the salon today and pick up K-PAK Reconstructor, this will be the perfect product to work through your hair before hitting the beach. The natural rays of the sun will help this nourishing product penetrate and protect!

Tip #2 - Braid your conditioned hair to minimize the sun's harsh rays hitting on each strand.

Tip #3 - You know the excess of sunscreen you still have on your hands after protecting your skin? Run it through the ends of your hair to act as a barrier again chlorine!

Tip #4 - Grab a hat or scarf on your way out the door to shield your hair from direct exposure!

These photos are stunning, the bride looks stunning, the bridesmaids look stunning, and even the groom looks stunning. Heck, even the guest look stunning!

Our bride Maggie decided on a bohemian look with a simple braid. Her headband from Anthropologie added the perfect touch of glamour!

Vanity Salon took the style bus out on the town for Taylor and Brent's colorful wedding at Cottage on the Creek! Taylor and her bridesmaids had their hair & makeup done on the one and only Vanity Salon style bus! One of our stylist, Liz gave Taylor a 50's inspired/retro chic twist with all the volume you could ask for. What a fun hair style! It was sure a pleasure being apart of your day Taylor and your wedding was so beautiful!

Today we are going to take you back to September for a lovely beach wedding. Erin and Cory celebrated their big day at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms. Erin went with her hair twisted up into a curled side bun with a flower accent.
