Boone Hall Plantation Stylized Photo Shoot | Charleston, SC

Last month Vanity Salon had the pleasure of teaming up with a great team of professionals to bring you this lovely stylized shoot at Boone Hall Plantation. This well known plantation in located in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. These stunning images are brought to you by JoPhoto, it was such an honor to work with you on this photo shoot! Vanity Salon provided the hair and makeup for our model, to keep with the theme we kept her makeup very simple elegant. For her hair, we choose a romantic style to mirror the location. All of the floral decor was provided by LB Floral, calligraphy was by La Happy Design & Calligraphy, the gown was from Gossamer, ribbon from Silk & Willow, and the stunning model was from Millie Lewis. We were so honored to work with this group of vendors and look forward to working together in the future.

We worked with Richard Bell Photography for Kristina and Bryan's wedding last month. Their wedding was at Magnolia Plantation. The couple chose their wedding colors to keep with the feeling of a natural and simple wedding. But their day was anything but uneventful with corn hole, bocci ball, cigar rolling, smore making, dancing & apple pie! Thank you Kristina for allowing us to be a part of your special day, we wish you both a lifetime of love!

Back from NY!

This week was a busy one! We came back from our trip to New York for the International Beauty Show where we saw a lot of really amazing techniques & products and jumped back in with weddings, photo shoots, pageants and a fashion show.

 

We started early Saturday morning doing hair and make up for a photo shoot with Jenn Cady. If you are interested in her photography or scheduling for your new headshot, visit her website.

We also did hair & makeup for Miss Green Wave, Olivia Juretich...

 

and Miss Green Wave Teen, Mary Baxter Harlow who were having a photo shoot that day.

Both girls will be competing in the Miss SC & Miss SC Teen pageants later this year.

On Sunday we did hair and makeup for the Blush runway show. The girls showed off some of their new spring collection, so many cute pieces!
